Divert Missed & Declined Calls on Android

Android gives you proper conditional call forwarding — let your phone ring as normal and only send the calls you don’t answer, decline, or can’t take somewhere useful. The menu lives in a slightly different place on each brand, so jump to yours below.

The four conditions

Whatever your phone, you’ll be choosing between these. For capturing leads, set the bottom three (leave "Always" off so your phone still rings):

  • Always forward — every call, phone never rings (usually leave off)
  • Forward when busy — you’re on another call or you decline the call
  • Forward when unanswered — you let it ring out
  • Forward when unreachable — phone off or no signal

Samsung (One UI)

  1. Open the Phone app → tap the three dots (top right) → Settings.
  2. Tap Supplementary servicesCall forwardingVoice call.
  3. Tap Forward when busy, when unanswered and when unreachable in turn, enter your number and tap Enable.

Google Pixel & stock Android

  1. Open the Phone app → three dotsSettings.
  2. Tap CallsCall forwarding (on some networks it’s under Calling accounts → [your SIM]).
  3. Set When busy, When unanswered and When unreachable to your number and turn each on.

Xiaomi / Redmi / POCO (MIUI & HyperOS)

  1. Open the Phone app → three dots or Settings icon.
  2. Tap Call settings (or Advanced settings) → pick your SIM → Call forwarding.
  3. Set Forward when busy / unanswered / unreachable to your number.

OnePlus / OPPO (ColorOS / OxygenOS)

  1. Open the Phone app → three dotsSettings.
  2. Tap Call forwarding → choose your SIM.
  3. Set When busy / unanswered / unreachable to your number.

No menu? Use universal dialler codes

If your phone hides the menu, dial these into the keypad instead. They work on EE, O2, Vodafone, Three and every UK SIM. Replace [number] with the number to forward to.

When unanswered **61*[number]# Add a ring time: **61*[number]**20# (≈20s)
When busy / declined **67*[number]#
When unreachable **62*[number]#
Cancel every divert ##002#

Check any condition with *#61#, *#67# or *#62#.

Do Not Disturb, done right

Android’s Do Not Disturb can silence everyone except starred (favourite) contacts or repeat callers. Combine that with the "when unanswered" divert above and silenced callers ring out quietly, then divert — while your important contacts still ring through.

Send those calls to Call2SMS

Forwarding to another mobile just means you still have to answer. Point the divert at your Call2SMS number (in your dashboard) instead.

We instantly text the caller back, capture their name and what they need over a quick conversation, and send the lead straight to your phone — so the calls you can’t take still turn into work.
